Jon Richard is a Senior Financial Advisor at Frontline Investment Advisors and the lead advisor in our Ohio office. He has been in the wealth management industry since 2003. His experience, strong leadership and deep relationships with clients make him an integral part of Frontline. Jon prides himself on providing personal face-to-face service for all his clients. The opportunity to join his sons at Frontline was an important factor in changing firms and will allow him to eventually transition his clients to his sons upon his future retirement.
Caring about his client’s best interest and knowing their family and personal situations is the primary motivation for Jon to remain dedicated to this industry. Assisting those in saving, planning, protecting, and enjoying retirement is Jon’s primary focus in working with families to achieve their financial goals. He is well versed in multiple financial solutions and products to best protect and grow a client’s portfolio.
Jon manages our Ohio office and continues to grow our team in the Buckeye state. He grew up and raised his family in the Miami Valley area. A graduate of Tippecanoe High School, he received a BSBA in Economics and International Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi; where he served as Student Body President and is a member of the Student Hall of Fame. After working in the real estate industry, he obtained his Law Degree from the University of Dayton. He then practiced law full-time before entering the financial industry. Initially working with Valic for 20 years where he was a platinum level advisor for 16 years and a President Cabinet Member for 5 years. Through VALIC his primary work was managing the 403(b) savings plan and Physicians Deferred Compensation Plan at Dayton Children’s Hospital. He then expanded his career and product knowledge to become an Independent Advisor Representative with Transamerica Financial Advisors. His background in law and years of experience working with clients has provided Jon with exceptional and unique talents to understand all the concerns and complexities of a family’s financial needs.
Outside of work nothing makes him prouder than having raised his three sons, Devin, Connor, and Logan; all who have followed him in the Financial Industry. Currently Jon has four beautiful grandchildren and knows there are more to come in the future! Having coached youth football for 23 years shows his enjoyment for teaching and sharing with others. An avid sports fan, he enjoys attending all sporting events; he is a member of a local non-profit board, enjoys all outdoor activities, concerts, and travelling to special places as he works on his personal bucket list!
At Frontline Investments, Jon will end his career as he started; educating client’s and prioritizing their current and future needs to meet their overall goals by finding the best financial solutions for their lifetime.
